This top is made of golden yellow silk gazar and features an asymmetrical design with visually striking lines. A wide band acts as the origin point for the front bodice panel and is held up by delicate string shoulder straps. The band connects to the top of an asymmetrical front panel which features four distinct pleats on the right-hand side, thus forcing the fabric to fall as a visibly staggered hemline with its longest point reaching ankle length. The same pleating technique is used to the back, except the top of the back panel uses the unfinished effect of the fabric selvage to symbolize the struggles of an imperfect life. The top is unlined, slips on over the head, and is free of fasteners.
