This floor-length gown is made of high-sheen double silk satin in copper rose. Multidirectional, free-form folds emanate from the right shoulder and mold sumptuously around the front bodice, creating density and texture for a richness that alludes to a glamorous life. Contrasting this abundance to the back is a delicate string strap that connects the right shoulder to the center back, sensually exposing the skin. The gown fastens with an invisible zipper to the center back. It is finished neatly with baby hems, except at the top free edge of the front panel where the fabric’s unfinished selvage is used to symbolize the struggles of an imperfect life.
